Kevin Distelhorst

Cobalt Vice President & IntegraLink General Manager

Kevin Distelhorst's entire professional career has focused on applying technology to solve business problems. Since 1984, Kevin has used database, network, Internet, CD-ROM, and other media to create valuable tools and services for a broad range of clients in the automotive industry.

After graduating from The Ohio State University in 1983 with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting (summa cum laude), Distelhorst joined Management Computer Services (MCS) as part of the lead team selling and installing the One Touch Parts Locator to automotive retailers throughout the United States.

Distelhorst earned an MBA from The Wharton School in 1987 and was promoted by MCS to vice president of sales and marketing. He directed the growth of the One Touch Locator (OTL) from 500 retailers to over 2000 in 1994. OTL became the recognized leader in automotive retailer parts locating, processing over 10 million locate inquiries per year. Under Distelhorst's direction, OTL introduced both CD-ROM and WAN-based products. Simultaneously, Distelhorst helped to pioneer the industry's first fully automated data collection system.

In 1994, The Reynolds and Reynolds Company acquired OTL and appointed Kevin as director and general manager of Parts Enterprise to integrate and grow the OTL business at Reynolds. In less than one year, the OTL had grown by more than 50 percent to 3000 retailers.

One year later, Reynolds appointed Distelhorst as director and general manager of the automotive DealerNet website, where he led two site redesigns and implementation of the industry's first Internet-based credit applications for GMAC, an Internet-based used car database, and fully automated data collection from over 1000 retailers for used vehicle data. Reynolds sold the DealerNet business to the The Cobalt Group, Inc. in November 1997.

In January 1997, as director of electronic commerce, Distelhorst had the privilege of announcing to the automotive industry a strategic alliance he helped develop between Reynolds and Microsoft for the CarPoint web site. Distelhorst directed the design and implementation of the Used Car Classifieds and the New Car Buying Service offered by Reynolds on CarPoint.

Distelhorst formed IntegraLink in July 1998 to fill the need for a professional data collection firm focused entirely on the needs of the automotive retailing industry. Since the acquisition of IntegraLink by The Cobalt Group, Inc., in January 2000, Kevin has continued to manage and direct IntegraLink.

Kevin Distelhorst and his wife, Molly, have two children.
