SMART UpdaterIntegraLink's SMART technology establishes a persistent, secure, key-encrypted connection between your ERA dealership management system and IntegraLink's data collection center. Once installed on any workstation that has access both to the DMS computer and the Internet, the operation is transparent to the workstation user. In addition to providing a secure and highly reliable connection, SMART allows data collection to occur at the speed of the Internet. No longer is the limiting factor a modem. The SMART Updater will allow IntegaLink to update the SMART software when neccessary changes are needed without you having the need uninstall the old version of SMART and the need to reinstall the new version of SMART. Installing SMART UpdaterWhen you have received an e-mail from IntegraLink requesting you install the SMART Updater you're ready to proceed. When you click the link below, you'll be asked if you want to run the file or save it to your computer. Please save the file to your computer's Desktop. Installing the SMART Updater requires that you have administrator privileges on the workstation. If you are not an administrator on the computer, please have an administrator perform the installation. If you proceed without administrator access, the installation will fail. You will need to install the SMART Updater on the same computer on which SMART is currently installed and under the same USER account. When the download is complete, double-click the file you saved to the desktop. This will extract the SMART Updater files at which time you can use the installation instructions on how to proceed. If you want additional information, please see the installation instructions. When the installation is complete, we would appreciate your sending a confirmation that includes your dealer code to smart@integralink.com. If you are prohibited from downloading an executable file, or if you encounter any problems during the installation process, please contact smart@integralink.com for assistance and someone will contact you by phone. |
